Climate & sustainability · from Disrupting IT

A clearer way from accounts to climate reporting.

Turn the accounting data you already have into a practical starting point for a greenhouse-gas inventory and VSME sustainability reporting.

Formerly Ducky Klimarapportering. Now developed by Disrupting IT as Klima & Bærekraft.

One working space · useful guidance · your data, checked
01 / A practical starting point

Less repeated work. A better view of what matters.

You shouldn’t have to start from scratch every time a customer, bank or partner asks about your emissions and sustainability work. Build on information you already hold, then fill the gaps that matter.

01

Build on accounting data

Use financial data as the basis for a climate inventory, then add activity data and other details where needed.

02

Bring the work together

Prepare your climate inventory and sustainability report in one solution. Emissions data flows from the inventory into the reporting workflow.

03

Keep your team in control

Step-by-step guidance helps you work through the report. Your team checks the data and supplies the information that accounting records can’t provide.

“Good reporting begins with a useful picture of your business—not with another blank document.”

02 / From data to a report

A sequence your team can actually follow.

The platform brings the pieces into one workflow. It helps you understand your emissions and prepare VSME reporting, while leaving room for the judgement and company-specific information the work requires.

01

Connect

Choose an available accounting connection and provide the necessary access. Accounting data gives the climate inventory its starting point.

02

Check and complete

Review the source data and calculations. Add relevant information that isn’t present in your accounts.

03

Prepare your reports

Use the emissions overview and follow the guided VSME reporting steps. Emissions data is brought across automatically; other relevant details are entered by your team.

04

Put the picture to work

Share relevant information with customers, banks and business partners. Use the overview internally to decide what to follow up.

A closer look

See the footprint. Then ask better questions.

The climate inventory estimates greenhouse-gas emissions and organises them across Scope 1, 2 and 3. Use that view to explore which activities contribute and where you may need better information.

Accounting data is a starting point, not a complete picture. Review the underlying data and supplement it with relevant information before relying on the result.

VSME, without the fog

A guided route through broader sustainability information.

VSME is a voluntary sustainability reporting standard for small and medium-sized businesses. The solution follows the guidance in the Norwegian guide to voluntary sustainability reporting and supports you with step-by-step prompts.

Emissions data comes across from the climate inventory. Your team fills in the other information relevant to the business and report. Guidance helps with the work; it is not a guarantee of compliance.
03 / Fit with your setup

Start with the accounting system you use.

Connections are available for Visma Net, Business NXT and Tripletex. If you use another accounting system, we can help clarify how your data may be used.

04 / Clear answers

Questions worth asking.

Is this the former Ducky Klimarapportering?

Yes. Ducky Klimarapportering is being further developed as Klima & Bærekraft from Disrupting IT. The solution brings together a climate inventory and sustainability reporting.

What is the difference between a climate inventory and sustainability reporting?

A climate inventory concerns a company’s estimated greenhouse-gas emissions. Sustainability reporting covers a wider set of information about the company’s sustainability work, with the climate inventory forming part of that basis.

What does VSME reporting mean?

VSME is a voluntary sustainability reporting standard for small and medium-sized businesses. The solution guides you through preparing a report and brings emissions data across from the climate inventory.

Is all data collection automatic?

No. Accounting data can be used as a basis for the climate inventory, and emissions data is transferred automatically into sustainability reporting. Other information must be entered or supplemented, and the underlying data needs to be checked.

Do we need a consultant?

The workflow is designed so your business can do the reporting work itself with guidance along the way. For more complex questions about data, boundaries or reporting requirements, professional advice may still be useful.

Can we use the report with customers and banks?

The report can be used as a basis for sharing information about emissions and sustainability work. Always check what the recipient is asking for and whether additional documentation is needed.

What does it cost?
